Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in El Cajon. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 20 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Every company we hold in El Cajon, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★15%

Each mark is one company we hold in El Cajon whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Orange Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

I had to remove and reinstall my panels to replace my roof and even with a master electrician we couldn’t get it to fire back up. I was skeptical of these guys cause I found them on Craigslist. But hey every once in a while you get a great deal on Craigslist and these guys were just that. Got me back up and running and I’m gonna buy one more panel from them soon. Hopefully then I won’t get slammed at true up.

Justin is great! He was very thorough and persistent in diagnosing an issue with my SolarEdge system that had stopped communicating. He replaced a communication module, coordinated directly with SolarEdge support, and ultimately helped get the inverter replaced under warranty. Throughout the process he was responsive, professional, and clearly cared about solving the problem correctly instead of taking shortcuts. Highly recommend Orange Solar.

FINALLY a solar team that is honest and capable! Thank you guys for such great work and for cleaning up the mess my original installer created with my system and batteries 🔋 🔋 where my house almost caught on fire 🔥 YOU GUYS ARE MY SOLAR TEAM from now on and will happily recommend you to anyone that needs new solar or additional panels/works. THANK YOU for your dedication and making everything work how it was meant to. 🙏 🙏 🙏

Orange Solars installers are great. They are very knowledgeable and hard working. They did a very clean install. After about 3 weeks there was a problem with the system but they came out quickly and found the problem that turned out to be a Tesla software issue that got fixed quickly. I would definitely recommend Orange Solar to anyone even friends and family. Great company!

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions warranty, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
