Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in El Cajon. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 11 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in El Cajon whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Aviara Solar Contractors is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

As soon as we decided to go solar, we asked around for recommendations and suggestions for a reputable and dependable solar installation company. We decided to go with Aviara Solar using my cousin's suggestion and we couldn't be more thrilled . We scheduled a meeting with Aviara Solar’s rep Jesse at our home to discuss the solar system and to show him our electrical usage history .We signed the contract at our first meeting and we are extremely satisfied. They had the best pricing with top notch panels and inverters. He explained to us how the solar system works, solar benefits, selection of m

I'm very happy with my new solar system! I recommend Aviara Solar to everyone. They are very professional, knowledgeable about solar and were able to answer all my questions before we signed up. They installed my system in two days and paid attention to every detail. They even helped me get financing at a very low rate. They also had great pricing compared to the other companies I interviewed. Happy to say that my payments are much less than my electric bills used to be. Would highly recommend them!

I had been wanting to put a solar system on my house for more than 10 years and I talked to more than a few installers and contractors about the project, but no one impressed me enough to pull the trigger until I came across Aviara Solar this last spring. Right off the bat Aviara impressed me with their professional and personal approach, their knowledge of the systems and their willingness to work we me on a couple of special requests I had. Jesse is the technical consultant and did all the upfront planning. He looked at our SDGB&E bills, determined how large of a system we would need and the

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“pricing, equipment experience and financing options. When it came to installation,…”

  • Family owned

“Solar Contractors is your all-in-one family owned and operated residential solar…”

  • Licensed

“financially feasible. We are CSLB licensed so you can be assured that we can…”

Its website also mentions warranty and free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on X, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
