Its one and two star share is 2 points below the typical installer in Texas. Across Texas, 399 of the 728 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 71 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

This is the second time I’ve used Yogi. I’ve had a solar system they installed for a few years without any issue. I just installed a battery backup system with them. Very responsive and knowledgeable. They ensured I was getting a system I needed and not over sized. Also, they did not up sell me either. Install quality was excellent. Very happy with their work and support. Long time customer.

Yogi Solar did a great job with my solar system on my house. Himanshu worked with me to design the best system to support my needs and also helped me pull back from over spending. I truly appreciate his honesty and transparency. The installation went extremely well. Each of the contractors he brought on paid close attention to details, did a clean job, and were pleasant to work with. Himanshu took care of all my HOA paperwork and got all the certification and permits needed. It was a pleasure working with Yogi Solar and I recommend them to anyone looking for a great solar system.

Yogi Solar was very pleasant to work with. You can trust them to do a great job and pay attention to detail so it’s done right. I would recommend them for any solar install.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Years in business

“and green energy solutions. With over 15 years of experience, we have installed more…”

Its website also mentions warranty and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It posts on Instagram, X and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
