Its one and two star share is 3 points below the typical installer in Houston. Across Texas, 381 of the 728 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 73 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Awake Solar in Arizona is by far the worst of the worst. We have been dealing with them for over a year now trying to get the service we were promised and they have never returned a phone call. We have been completely ghosted. We have filed reports with the BBB in hopes to get some kind of response/ resolution and still nothing. We have an insufficient amount of panels on our roof. Our electrical company states we need at least 13 more. We leased the panels and are now paying a monthly lease payment and still paying a high electric bill. Awake is a fraud! Had awake solar come out look at my solar system, they said it was an inverter that had to be replaced. Once that was ordered they came back out replaced it. Said they would send invoice never did. They said they would call solar system to bring it online ?. Awake Solar don’t get back to you, by phone or Tex. To busy for after care, more interested in installing.

This company installed Solar at our two commercial warehouses. There are some installation issues on both that company has promised to address. This review will be updated when we see issues resolved.

Excellent work and customer service by Awake Solar. They were professional throughout the solar installation and after. I had a slight issue and Ajay resolved without a problem. Highly recommend!

We recently had our solar system installed and activated by Awake Solar, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. Ajay and his team were professional, transparent, and highly organized throughout the entire process — from system design and permitting to installation and final utility approval. Our electricity bill has dropped from roughly $400–$500 per month to about $50, and the system is performing exactly as projected. Ajay was also extremely helpful in guiding us through the federal tax credit paperwork, which made that process straightforward and stress-free. Competitive p

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Better Business Bureau

“great customer reviews & their A+ rating with BBB. Arushi & Ajay were easy…”

Its website also mentions warranty, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on X, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
