Its one and two star share is 2 points below the typical installer in Houston. Across Texas, 366 of the 728 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 102 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

I now wish I knew more about their three day policy to change ones mind. At this point I do not think having these panels was worth it, I was paying 125 a month for the panels and still paying a 280$ electric bill. Wasn't saving any money, you'll do the math .

I had solar system installed , they made damages to my main electrical line prior to installing. They made installation prior to allowing me see and approve engineer specifications. Panels are not producing power to what their …

They deserve a zero star if there was one. They lure you into a contract by making promises they can't deliver. Then they go incommunicado. Their sales representatives are trained to make you sign up and disappear on you. If you are thinking solar look elsewhere. You will regret it.

Solstice Solar was contracted by Tri-Smart Solar for installation of solar panels approx. one year ago for my home in Dallas. The installation was completed in one day, and the work seems to have held up well. My review is lessened because …

Four years ago, when I investigated the installation of a solar system, I spoke with representatives of three solar companies. One was Gage Mueller. He was by far the most forthright and candid, explaining both the pros and cons of solar. One of the things he said was that he would always be there for me should I ever need assistance with my system. I have heard sales representatives say that before to no avail. Well, true to his word, Gage meant what he said. I had a problem with my system not reporting properly. So, I called Gage who no longer even works for the company that installed my sys

Full disclosure…I went with Tesla for my install. They had already done the site inspection. This in no way diminishes Solstice. Since they are partnered with and premier installers for Tesla, it’s a good choice. Ahmmad has been generous …

The repair to the non working solar panel was thankfully under warranty. The service fee was reasonable. Thank you Solstice Solar.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Established

“Record: With 3,000+ installations since 2020, Texans trust us for quality…”

Its website also mentions warranty and free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on HomeAdvisor, Thumbtack and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
