  Called to discuss battery backup pricing and was connected with Tommy. He brought up "FEOC compliance" as a reason to avoid a competitor battery brand — a real regulatory term, but one with no bearing on a homeowner-purchased residential battery in 2026. He then claimed I could access a "special" federal tax credit on top of standard pricing. When I asked which section of the tax code this fell under, he said he'd "rather have me speak to their tax professional" instead of answering directly.   This is the worst decision I have ever made in my life. Everything was a lie!!! Do not get solar panels. The set up process was easy. Everything was smooth and makes you feel like you are making a really good decision for the environment and for your pocket. My panels were installed about 2 years ago. The nightmare begins after the panels are installed and it’s too late to back out!!!! 1st lie was that they would reimburse me for my light contract cancellation fee since I would have to switch to a solar buy back plan. That was $240 I never got back. 2nd lie was that would have a small or no li

  Looking at other recent reviews, my service saga unfortunately appears to be common. I’ve made a service request five weeks ago, and I am still waiting for someone to show up. The difference between the sales pitch and actual experience couldn’t be more striking.

  Sunshine Renewable Services did an excellent job designing and installing our solar electricity system, and at a great price. The system output per unit cost was almost 2X better than a quote we received from another company. Our system consists of 48 panels and 2 batteries for full house backup. It has performed exceptionally well in the two years that we have owned it. Our area has frequent power outages, and now we don't have to worry about this anymore. Our electricity bill has also been reduced by ~80%. We love our system! It gives us peace of mind and a reasonable return on investment.
