Affordable Solar Roof & Air (Texas)

Each mark is one company we hold in the Houston area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Affordable Solar Roof & Air (Texas) is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

This company is fraud. They installed my Solar unit six months ago but my system start having lot of technical problems. This company went out of business and me as home owner, stuck with heavy cost of Solar repairs. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY

I'll change my review once they show they can honor their contract in a timely manner. I had solar panels installed 2 years ago and was guaranteed 10 solar panel cleanings. Basically 1 per year for 10 years. Last year it took me calling aproximately 8-10 times and 3 months of waiting before they finally got someone out here to clean. Here we go again year 2 waiting!!! I have tried calling 5 times with NO ANSWER ever. I've left messages everytime! I received a text message shortly after the last call asking what I needed help with. We messaged back and forth and still have not heard a word abou

Very unprofessional. Two solar panels never worked. We have been waiting for them to be replaced or repaired for months. Emails to the project manager started bouncing. No one else in the office responded - they just ghosted us. What seemed like a great deal turned out to be anything but. Stay away.

They didn’t apply for the HOA approval before installing. And now I have to apply for the approval and pay the fines. Worst of all, I can’t get any help from filing the HOA application, they are not responding to my emails at all Update: after a few weeks they gave me the files. However, the panels are not installed according to the site design. Not sure why this happened, either the workers didn’t follow the design or they give wrong design to the workers.

Repeat business for a reason. Affordable did such a fantastic job on our panels several years ago, it was an easy choice when replacement time came for the roof. The price was competitive and the service was above. The timely communication was great, especially when working around rain and panel re-install. Justin was honest and kept things on schedule. The workspace was tidy. Jesus ensured we were informed throughout the day. Cody did a fantastic job making the solar panels sparkle like new. Highly recommend Justin and team for solar panels and roofing.

Justin answered every question I had. Even if I asked it three times. They offered one of the most competitive quotes out of six that we recieved. The instalation went very smooth and quickly. The roof looks great!

After researching for several months we came across Ken Afra at Affordable solar. He offered us with a consultation and reviewed a few different solutions. With our numerous questions and emails, his response time was within minutes. One happy customer here Thanks Ken! Matthew Corrigan

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Warranty

“home improvement services that are guaranteed to help reduce your energy bill. We…”

Its website also mentions financing and free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It posts on YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
