Its one and two star share is 9 points above the typical installer in Sandy. Across Utah, 29 of the 167 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 22 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

House could have burned due to breaker they put and my bill was high for the month and when addressed I was told someone would come to check it out. It's been a month now and nothing nor will the main representative respond to my emails. Attorney time it is.

Do not get affiliate solar. They are the worst! The salesperson Josh lied and said I would have only 1 bill. He also told me my old outdated electrical panel would be replaced, it WASN'T. My system still isn't working because of inspection and it's been 1 year and 3 months!!, yet they started billing me for a non working service and summer is here. The installation contractors they hired put a hole in my carport roof! That HASN'T been fixed. Another crew they contracted left a mess that we had to clean up. The communication has been horrible. They don't give you updates on status of installati

Me and my family are so grateful! I remember this company being the best; always respectful and available when we needed them. They installed our system in the summer of 2020, and since then we've been protected from blackouts and costly electricity bill increments. We paid cash, and, never had an issue with functionality. Our regards to Kim Eaves and Lyle Garstad.

We had some issues getting thing up and going, however Kim with Affiliate Solar was able to contact some one local to be here right away. Leif and Wes came out the next day and quickly resolved the issue. Everyone was very professional, Leif and Wes even took the time to explain to me what the issue was and that is was not anything major, just a software update. Affiliate solar has been great to work with!

Recently sat with Daniel from Affiliate. Currently with Sunnova and I hate it. Paying roughly $150 with Sunnova, on top of Edison. Daniel was so nice and informative, and showed me an ownership plan that is much cheaper than my Sunnova lease. Doesn’t cost me anything upfront to add their panels either. Also going to get my tax credits on Affiliate’s system since it’s ownership and not a cruddy lease like Sunnova. Truly has the customers best interest at heart. I was sold 15 minutes into the meeting. Very pleased with my experience and look forward to future business with Affiliate.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
