Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in New York. Across New York, 134 of the 247 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 69 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

What reviewers said

  • 1★ · around October 2025

Disappointed in that the requested project was dismissed by the sales person. Didn’t even try to find a solution for moving to a heat pump system for the house.

  • 5★ · around August 2026

Great customer service… went above and beyond my expectations…, paid attention to details… very high technical applications… superior knowledge on heat pumps

  • 5★ · around August 2026

The office staff is on top of things, with all calls returned within minutes. Tech arrived quickly and solved the issue with my geothermal AC. Tech was friendly and informative. Set myself up for an annual maintenance.

  • 5★ · around July 2026

Amazing experience with Alternative Power Solutions! During a heatwave our geothermal AC stopped working. They came through and exceeded all expectations. From the call with Lynne, to Owen’s repair of the AC and the way he explained things to us, it was one of the smoothest, most pleasant contracting appointments we’ve had. (Given the circumstances that’s saying a lot!) Happy to support a business run by people who are kind, professional, knowledgeable, skilled, reliable, and communicate clearly and openly. They care about what they’re doing and who they’re doing it for. Amazing! Thank you so

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
