They keep charging my account twice every month. They really don't seem to be very organized. Just another thing I'm going to have to call in and correct. I'm sure everything will go super smooth.

They came to our door twice last summer (August 2025) claiming to save us money on our utilities. I signed up because I was thinking what was the harm? We didn't receive any credits until I received an email in January 2026 stating I saved $20 on my utilities and owed them $19. Ha! What kind of savings is that?! There was never anything reflected on my statements saying I even received a discount as they claimed would show. This is a scam and I would never recommend. I don't even recall the salesman saying I'd need to pay for anything and that providing my card information was for the credits.

I signed up for this 2-3 years ago. After over a year of hearing nothing from them, I called the company and asked what was going on. They said there was no record of me signing up for Altus Power. I said fine. About 1.5 years later I started getting bills from them without any warning. I immediately called to have my account canceled with them because I got a very bad feeling about this company. The lady I talked to said I'd be getting bills for 2-3 months but my account was canceled. It's been 6-7 months since that phone call and I'm still getting bills. Also, the initial promotion said cust

My Community Solar account at Neighborhood Sun was recently transferred back to Altus Power customer service. It was unexpected to receive a follow up call after an email was sent to me explaining that the history of transactions will be available in the future. Nice personal touch.

I had some issues with NYSEG, their billing system is confusing. I messaged Altus and their customer service is great. I fortunately got Nick, he is brilliant! He took the time to clearly explain the details on my invoices until everything made sense. He approached the problem super quickly, with a good sense of humor, and made sure I was completely satisfied before letting me go.

I want to say, the way Nick and his team have handled my account has been genuinely refreshing. When I reached out with a concern about my solar credits, they did not simply pass along an excuse, they actually went and got to the bottom of it and told me straight what happened. That matters more than they probably realize.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
