Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in the Asheville area. Across North Carolina, 72 of the 130 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 47 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

If you need electrical work or want solar in WNC, Asheville Solar is the one to use. We used Asheville Solar for a rooftop system and battery in Aug 2024. Nate Pembleton, the owner/operator, gave us an all-inclusive upfront quote that beat every other solar installer in the region by 15-20%. We got a bigger system and better battery for a lower price than any other competitor. His professionalism, timeliness, and quality of work was outstanding. My wife was on-site during the installation, and she commented on how Nate and the installation crew educated, informed and included her in decision-m

I have had the privilege of having Nate and his team install 3 different systems on three different properties. Each one was installed quickly and professionally not only that but the pricing really can't be beat for the quality of the work. Would recommend highly to anyone residential or commercial to go with Asheville Solar.

Of all the Solar companies I got quotes from, Asheville Solar made me comfortable from the get go. Nate (the owner) was the only person that actually went on to my roof to ascertain my needs. When I asked that the battery back up be located in my unfinished basement as opposed to the garage it was not an issue. His pricing was better than most and I felt that I got more than what other companies offered. The timeline to start the job was very appealing and the finished project (weather permitting) could not have gone smoother. Nate has been very helpful (post completion), ensuring we were comf

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
