Its one and two star share is 3 points above the typical installer in Texas. Across Texas, 316 of the 728 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 21 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Astrawatt has been a very good installer of both my Solar and Battery install. But their after install support has been really bad - having an issue with Battery installed and I can get a response from them by any means - Phone, SMS, Email - Nothing. Beware

This is a reasonably long review, so I want to say this first. If you are on this website looking for power installations (solar, battery), then look no further. This is the best it gets. I already have solar panels on my house (2021 install) and was looking for batteries based on the forecast power consumption in Texas. I found three installation companies and requested proposals from each of them. One of them proposed a solution that raised technical questions related to establishing a microgrid when the power goes out, another was slow to respond, and then there was Astrawatt Solar and spec

Worked with Shary to add Batteries to our solar , it was great experience he walked us through all the steps and took care of everything from start to completion of the project. Very helpful and inspected the setup once the installation was complete and helped us with optimizing the full potential of our system to reduce the electricity bill. Very prompt and responsive when ever there was any issue with the system. I will recommend Shary to my friends and family

Astrwatt did an amazing job for my house. The solar panels work efficiently! My average electricity bill is less than $40 a month. I got power back up too which helps me and my family live comfortably during hurricane season.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau, Yelp, Trustpilot and ConsumerAffairs. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
