Its one and two star share is 4 points above the typical installer in Wichita. Across Kansas, 12 of the 40 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 16 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

This is what Barkley solar did to a new roof I installed. It took weeks to get them to fix I worked with his crew to make sure it was done correctly and not to void the warranty. I would avoid this company. We were both hired to do work at the same persons house. Barkley Solar removed the solar. I installed the roof this is what Barkley Solar did the the brand new roof I installed. After weeks of Barkley canceling appointments to get the problem resolved. We finally got it done I could have had my guys do the repair instead I let his guys do the repair. I could not let his guys do the repair w

A big “Thank you” to Brent and your team at Barkley Solar who did a beautiful job removing and replacing our solar panels while our roof was replaced from hail damage. You and your team were so knowledgeable, efficient, professional, and polite. It was a pleasure to do business with you and we will be happy to recommend you to all our family and friends who are in need of solar panel care! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Brent with Barkley Solar is top notch. We used Barkley to D&R panels for a customer. Quick replies and fair pricing. He took care of all of our insurance paperwork as well. We barely had to do anything to get our customers solar panels detached and reset for a full roof replacement. 10/10. Thank you, Brent. We’ll choose them for all solar projects.

We were in the midst off needing solar panel removal and reinstallation on our new roof and had waited several months on our original solar company with no results. Our roofer reached out to Barkley Solar and I immediately was able to connect with Brent. While this was not a new installation, Brent was positive and very responsive to what we needed and his crew got the job done in a very professional manner. Definitely feel confident refering anyone to Brent and Barkley Solar for solar panel installation.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“come with a 25-year performance warranty, guaranteeing at least 80% of their…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, years in business and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It posts on Facebook and Instagram. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
