Its one and two star share is 1 point above the typical installer in the Wichita area. Across Kansas, 14 of the 40 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 35 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

On the Kansas ranking

No. 6 of the 11 rankable records in Kansas →

Ordered by the share of one and two star reviews, weighted by how many reviews stand behind it. It ranks review records, not workmanship.

Every company we hold in the Wichita area, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★20%

Each mark is one company we hold in the Wichita area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Cromwell Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

What reviewers said

  • 5★ · around August 2026

Cromwell installed a generac solar system, with battery backup 5 years ago . And the system has worked flawlessly. Had a hail storm , Cromwell solar did an outstanding job removing my solar system, for a full roof replacement. And reinstalling my solar system, and recommissioning it with generac . Cromwell thanks for all the great work

We had a tree fall on our roof and it cracked one of our Solar panels (the rest were actually totally fine!). Cromwell was great in getting that replaced and our animal guard re-attached. Easy to worth with and great team of service techs!

Great communications about the installation visit for our second aPower2 solar battery, and seamless process in expanding our storage capacity.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Years in business

“installers in the world. We have over 40 years of experience in the solar industry…”

  • Licensed

“Our experienced teams include licensed electricians and experienced solar…”

Its website also mentions free estimate and established, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
