Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in California. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 11 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Blown away! By the knowledge, simplicity, and attention to detail. The solar project Patrick put together and executed exceeded all of our expectations. Saving $$$!!!! It’s a beautiful thing!

Quality, value, honesty are the aspects I look at when making a purchase. Patrick the owner of Bash Energy is exactly the type of professional that I enjoy working with. After introducing ourselves Patrick asked a couple of questions then sat back and let me tell him what I wanted. To often especially in solar the consultant was "selling" me on what I should want, not at Bash. After I finished explaining what mattered to me Patrick used the information to build a proposal that answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. Working with Bash Energy and Patrick was a very easy choice.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Rancho Santa Margarita is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
