Big Dog Solar

Each mark is one company we hold in Idaho whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Big Dog Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Two guys with no vehicle wandered up to our door asking for our power account information and wanted to know our work schedules. Claimed they are working with Pacific Power. Called our power company and they immediately said not to give this company any information, they do not work with third parties, we filed a complaint with the our power company regarding Big Dog Solar. Do NOT trust these people, this is a scetchy company with scetchy employees. We'll be watching our security cameras closely to make sure our equipment is not tampered with.

Caught on my security system going into my back yard supposedly putting a flyer on my back door!?! - took some time looking over my back area as if really logging the surroundings- THIS IS TRESPASSING!!! What business do you think you have at my back door uninvited peeping into a private residence? There was no attempt to go to the front porch door- only up my driveway of 100+ feet onto my back patio and back door. Your face and actions are saved. Secure locations can be dangerous

I have never written a negative comment on Google until now. I am very disappointed with how Big Dog Solar handled my installation. They did not stand behind what their sales representative (Chris) told me. I was informed time and time …

Big Dog Solar is augmenting our previous solar installation that was done by a different company. So far, there has been a little confusion on the amount that we are paying, but we are working that out and the service itself has been very good. The previous installer was horrendous, with a capital H. So it is very nice to have this higher quality service.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
