Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in Minnesota. Across Minnesota, 33 of the 68 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 111 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

We trusted and worked with Blue Horizon Energy to install 3 solar systems at 3 farm locations; in the 3 separate installs’ over a 3 year period, the process could not have been any better. The product, the service and the timeliness were suburb; we recommend the Blue Horizon Energy team to others and would use them again without question. They are reputable, sell with integrity, respond quickly and are great to work with; what more can you ask for? If you’re looking for solar for your farm or business, trust these guys. We did. Still do.

We have been one of Blue Horizon Energy satisfied customers for the past 13 years! They designed and built our 96 kW solar array, which provides 75% of the electricity we use annually. They are very knowledgeable, down to earth and honest business. On the rare occasions when our system needed service, they were very punctual and quickly diagnosed and repaired any problems. When the time comes for you to consider installing solar energy equipment, I strongly suggest you contact Blue Horizon Energy and become a future satisfied customer like us!

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions warranty and established, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Elsewhere

    • It posts on LinkedIn, Instagram and X. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

    Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

    • MN Solar4.9★ · 126
    • SunPower®4.4★ · 456

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
