    Beware - Mark owned Modern Mill Solar that went out of business. Refused to respond to phone calls , emails , certified letters , Illinois Shines and the Illinois Attorney General. Left dozens stranded in various stages of completion. My power guarantee , financial rebate and home upgrade contracts all were ignored.

    Mark used to own Modern Mill, his MO was install and leave you to deal with the problems. I had a solaredge inverter that had a DOA issue that they wouldn't send someone to fix. I doubt he's changed WHO he is...go look up all the BBB on modern mill.. don't be fooled...

    Several months after my solar array was installed, the 4G modem failed on the inverter. Brough Home Energy didn't do anything to cause its failure, but they still offered to come replace it. There weren't any out of pocket costs for the repair, which was awesome. Mark is a fair guy and will do what he can to take care of you. The only thing I could ask for is the contract could offer more examples about what is covered by warranty, and what is not. As rates keep rising, we keep saving. Thanks Brough Home Energy.

    I decided to go solar for safety and security. The process went smoothly and both Mark and Phil were courteous, respectful of me and my property and were very professional. They took the time to explain what they were doing and how the system worked. I am very pleased with the installation and all is working well. I would highly recommend them.
