Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in Fort Wayne. Across Indiana, 32 of the 75 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 22 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Ordered by the share of one and two star reviews, weighted by how many reviews stand behind it. It ranks review records, not workmanship.

Each mark is one company we hold in Fort Wayne whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. GenSolar Power is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

What reviewers said

Recently had GenSolar install a 24Kw Generac standby generator. The entire experience from quote through final installation was excellent and without any issues even though my installation was unique and challenging. The GenSolar team are true professionals who knew what they were doing and went out of their way to make sure I was completely satisfied with their work. Highly recommend them for your generator installation needs!

They did an outstanding job and the service and support is impressive. We recently had our generator installed and there was an issue from the manufacturer that was a simple fix and Josh made it priority to come on a Saturday morning to …

Outstanding installation of my new Generac generator. Josh & his crew went out of their way to install all necessary equipment correctly & efficiently. Josh was very knowledgeable on the unit & explained things to watch for & did the necessary warranty. I’m ecstatic with this company & my unit.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Years in business

“dealer. Prior to generators, he spent over 12 years in the automotive industry in sales…”

Its website also mentions warranty and 24/7 availability, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Fort Wayne is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
