Its one and two star share is 8 points above the typical installer in Downey. Across California, 221 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 14 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Every company we hold in Downey, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★55%

Each mark is one company we hold in Downey whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. California Solar System is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

I CANT CALL AND SO HARD FIND THERE WEBSITE

Extremely unprofessional. The technician never showed up, and when I called him, he said he would arrive two hours later, and then he said he wasn't coming at all. Completely unprofessional. The first appointment was so unprofessional. I absolutely do not recommend this company.

I never taught I needed solar but Ronnie you made me a true believer and now I am extremely satisfied with my decision and the money I am saving,. Ronnie thank you very much with your patience and understanding and all your help to make this transition as smoothly as possible.

Excellent service, Ronnie was extremely helpful and with us every step of the way, I will definitely recommend his services to all my coworkers and friends!!!

Ronnie was very patient and thorough in explaining how solar works. He also explained that we were going to need an upgrade on our main electrical Panel. After everything was explained we decided to get the Upgrade on the electrical panel and Solar .. The process was Quick and the Price was good also. I highly recommend that you get solar and especially with California Solar Guys. Every one is very nice and helpful!

What reviewers keep mentioning

  • fast process 3
  • patient 2

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
