AMECO Solar & Roofing

Each mark is one company we hold in the Downey area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. AMECO Solar & Roofing is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Horrible solar company to work with. Very lengthy process (unlike what they say in the beginning) and unresponsive team after they received the check. Strongly unsatisfied with this company. Do not recommend to ANYONE.

horrible service, signed a deal for $40k - solar panels + powerwall, and its the worst service. So far followed up 14 times via e-mails and phone calls all for the run around about the county and their times for planning review to approve and then they can pull permits. They say I need main panel upgrade, I approve for the extra money, I have a backyard project that is on hold with rocks everywhere as they have me waiting over 3 months - don't do business with this company choose another solar vendor better planning/permits/approval department to expedite the project. I think it keeps getting

I hired Ameco to replace my roof with solar panels approximately three years ago, and I am now dealing with a significant leak that has caused interior mold damage. After I reported the issue, Field Supervisor Asaaf sent a subcontractor to inspect the roof, and the subcontractor confirmed that the leak originated from the original roofing work performed by Ameco. Despite this, Ameco has denied responsibility and refuses to correct the problem. I have made multiple attempts to resolve the matter, but the company continues to dismiss accountability, leaving me with costly water and mold repairs.

Ameco has a great team and we are very happy with the service and expertise they provided. Stan did an excellent job managing the entire project and keeping everything on track. James was fantastic during the planning process, took time to explain everything, make sure we understood our options and were getting the best system to fit our needs. The whole team was professional, responsive, and easy to work with. Highly recommended!

Had an amazing experience with this company! The salesperson I worked with was fantastic knowledgeable, patient, and not pushy at all. Once we signed, the operations team took over and kept me updated every step of the way. Their communication made the whole process incredibly smooth and easy. Highly recommend!

Great company! My advisor was so helpful and stayed in touch the entire time. A few small hiccups but overall a great experience. I have a new Tesla battery and solar for my home. It took total of 3 months from beginning to end.

• Years in business

“energy solutions. For the past over 50 years we have been offering our customers…”

Its website also mentions warranty and established, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It is also reviewed on Yelp and ConsumerAffairs. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
• It posts on Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.
