Its one and two star share is 2 points below the typical installer in New York. Across New York, 139 of the 247 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 9 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

What reviewers said

  • 5★ · around August 2025 · the company replied

Wasn't sure Solar was going to work for me. After discussing with CIR and learning the benefits including available rebates, increased home value and reduced electric cost it was definitely the way to go. So happy for all of the information CIR gave me to make a great decision. Install only took a few days and system was up and making electricity. Install crew was great!!!

Mark and his crew were a pleasure to deal with, work was done on time and was informed of the process-I would them to anyone

Solar by CIR deserves the highest praise and recommendation! Their work is impeccable, their estimates of cost and timing are spot on. The crew installing our panels were capable and showed nothing less than a positive attitude throughout the very weather-challenging process. This experience with Solar by CIR reinforced my decision to “do my part” in converting to solar energy. Many thanks. Heather Milliron, East Aurora NY

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
