BUYER BEWARE! With previous management, they were great. But now, it's an owner with a receptionist/customer service person running the show. Owner is MIA. My experience of late was so unprofessional. There are other companies out there much better equipped than this one.

They will tell you anything and lie to you just to make a sale (1. batteries are too expensive and you would need to get on a wait list and pay 25k just for one - a lie 2. The cost of removal and reinstallation is covered if you need to get a new roof. They said they'll do it at least once in the lifetime of the panels - also a lie. They charge a ton for removal and reinstallation 3. We give a $1000 visa gift card when you purchase - another lie). We were promised and told so many things and those all ended up being false. It's been a few years now and this is the biggest regret we have in rel

Worst experience I have ever had with a company. Had to wait 1 year for generator when all my neighbors were getting them installed ordering months after me. Given the run around the entire time. Asked for a propane heater at least 50 times, they installed a heat pump. Do not ever do business with these bait and switch jokers. Also charged me $3,200 for a buried gas line that was included on original plans and said they would pull off job if didn't agree to pay it. Worst company in the history of home improvements.

Added- Photo of energy use and production. It has been a little over a year since the contract was written with Circle L solar to do an energy overhaul of my residence. A 1450 Sq. Ft brick house in the 77303-zip code in built out neighborhood. The contract was for a high efficiency A/C, heating system, triple pane windows, solar panels with 20 years’ worth of monitoring and the ceiling insulated. All costs were supposed to fall under the federal program the allows for a 30% reduction of costs through a tax deduction. Contract was done at the end of December 2018. The total cost was to be $48,8

The team at Circle L Solar was fantastic to work with in every way. Lukas provided thorough information on all aspects of home battery systems. His extensive knowledge and approachable manner made it easy for us to make well-informed decisions about our battery backup needs. There was absolutely no pressure from Lukas or the team. Once we decided to move forward, the installation was coordinated seamlessly. The Franklin Whole Home batteries were installed within the scheduled timeframe and have been working perfectly. When we encountered an issue with our previous solar installation company, C

Circle L Solar were a breath of fresh air compared to other solar companies we had communicated with. They prioritize the customer with clear communication and do things when they say they are going to do them. If you are looking to work with a solar company with integrity and honesty then I suggest you work with Circle L Solar.

We had 22 solar panels and a 5 ton new ac put in at pour home in March we were skeptics from the start. Its a lot of paper work.... what isn't. we found our electric bill drop from $425.00 to $145.00 !!!!! awesome well sat night the AC went out I called Todd with Circle L and he had me in touch with the AC folks (Mims AC) and had problem fixed in a timely matter . on a second note we had a hail storm April 22 with some hail as large as softballs!!! in Trinity Texas. We are getting a new roof as its needed. with that large of hail the solar panels were not damaged. Very happy with these folks.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“of them come with a standard 25-year warranty, although they can last up to 30…”

Its website also mentions free estimate and established, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It posts on Instagram, Facebook and X. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
