Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in Irvine. Across California, 646 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 28 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Total scam. I chose Clear Solar in 2016 and noticed huge screws sticking out of the side of my trusses under the facia so I got on the roof and the panels just pulled right up. The panels don't generate power when everything in my house is turned off. When I tried calling them I was told they were out of business up until recently. Now all of a sudden they are a company again and told me they would fix everything. That was 6 months ago and I can't get so much as an email from them and just keep getting the run around

I was researching for quite some time regarding having solar for my property. I had a lot of hesitation and questions in regards to the process, time, costs, savings, etc therefore I did my due diligence in figuring out what was best for me and my needs. Luckily for me I had a coworker who heard that I was going through this process and immediately referred me to Clear Solar since he used them for two of their rental properties. I took his advice and called for a consultation. From the very first call I was impressed with the knowledge, professionalism and courtesy the staff displayed. They he

Honestly I can’t say enough good things about Clear Solar LLC. They have earned a lifelong customer with me. If I could give them an extra star I would. I’ve dealt with over a dozen solar companies over the last few years. After working with Clear Solar LLC to do my office building they were the obvious choice when it came time for me to do my house. My expectations were high going in and they far surpassed them on every level. -Top Tier Customer Service -Straight Forward Process, -Easy to understand contract paperwork -Honest, friendly, & personable sales people, -Great communication: calls,

I highly recommend Clear Solar to anyone considering a transition to solar energy for their home. Their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction sets them apart in comparison to the other companies I've dealt with thus far. Kenneth and his team have been quick to answer my questions, have stayed on top of my project and even provided me with a free energy consumption report and a customized proposal for my home. I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking to make the switch to solar in the near future!

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions warranty, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
