Suntrek Solar

Each mark is one company we hold in Irvine whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Suntrek Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

our sales guy swore we'd be saving money by month two. it's been five and my bill actually went up by $11 this month. the system's panel layout looks sloppy, like they just put them wherever was easiest. beaurocratic mess with the city permits too took them weeks to submit.

I had Suntrek install pool solar 5 years ago. Has to get the system flushed about 4 years later, because the panels were deteriorating and pumping black flecks into my pool. Had to have them out a month ago again because there was a leak. It was allegedly fixed, but is now leaking again. After almost 9k, I’m done dealing with them. Do not recommend

Design and install went on without a hitch. Everyone was helpful, instructive and professional. Installation was quick and neat. The system seems to work somewhat as intended. Unfortunately, I have a new variable speed pool pump motor. When the motor decreases speed (per the design to save energy), the studer valve (anti-siphon) on the roof allows air to infiltrate into the panels due to the change in water pressure - (the system is obviously not designed for variable speed motors). This then allows air bubbles through the system decreasing the effectiveness of it. I've had their technicians o

We have been researching ways to heat our pool for two years now. Adding a gas line on our property just wasn't an option because the cost to run it was completely insane. On the flip side, a solar cover wasn't moving the needle enough throughout the year to make even having a pool feel worth it. We finally decided to look into solar panels, and after shopping around, I came across Suntrek Solar. The entire experience was fantastic from start to finish. My initial email went to Garrett, who came out to the property quickly, walked me through the whole process, and patiently answered all of my

I just had my solar pool heater installed today. I want to give a particular mention to my installers: Jose, Ben, Pepe, and Johnny. I was concerned that I might not be able to work (WFH) with anyone on the roof. I was barely required. The noise was minimal, so I spent my entire work day head phone free. The trench work they did was actually better than I thought it would be. I have hope that the grass will grow back without needing to resod it.

I hired Suntrek-Solar to install a solar system to heat the pool at the house. They arrived on time, did a fantastic job, cleaned after and left the area as they found it. The crew was very professional, the work was meticulously done , integrated with the system I had in place and they took the time to show me, explain me every aspect of the installation and how to make the best out of it. Shout out to Rolando, Ben Neri and Isaiah for a fantastic job, thanks.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Warranty

“of solar collectors for potential warranty issues Solar Water Heating : Inspect…”

• Family owned

“the globe, Suntrek Industries is a family run business with old fashion values.”

• Licensed

“equipment integrator, and licensed solar contractor, we are a one-stop…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, established, years in business, better business bureau and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
• It posts on YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
