Its one and two star share is 4 points above the typical installer in Irvine. Across California, 444 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 64 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

annoyed is an understatement, i drove all the way out here for this appointment and it was a complete waste of my time waited thirty minutes past my scheduled time before anyone even came to talk to me, and then they acted like it was no big deal the guy finally came out lookign at my roof for like two minutes and then told me they couldnt even give a quote without more info they should have found out beforehand from my photos online i should have just gone somewhere that respects peoples schedules becuase this wasnt it really bad first impression with this company which is a shame becuase i n

I contacted El-Fi because of AC issue. After the inspection, they wanted to replace several components, costing thousands of dollars. Surprised by the high cost, I opted to get second opinion. Well, it’s very good thing I got second opinion. The second company came out and thoroughly checked everything out, and gave diagnosis and gave me some valuable pointers on how to use my AC. No replacing parts needed, just a simple visit fee, and AC is working fine, thus saving me literally thousands of dollars. I will never use the company that at best gave misdiagnosis, and at worst needlessly would ha

Had a great experience with EL-FI Homes for our air conditioning and furnace installation. Edwin was professional, knowledgeable, and made sure everything was installed cleanly and running efficiently. Highly recommend EL-FI Homes and Edwin for any HVAC work!"

Uday and Angel are amazing. They are both incredibly kind and patient. It is evident they are in this for the cause and really spent months to help me get my solar panels working properly. I highly recommend them for all your solar needs.

We reached out to El-Fi Homes for solar and honestly had a really great experiance. Everyone was easy to talk to, answered all our questions, and never made us feel pressured. While working with them we found out they also do HVAC, so we decided to have them take care of that project too. After seeing how professional and responsive they've been, it just made sense to stick with the same team. So far everything has gone really smoothly and we're happy we chose them. Definately recommend El-Fi Homes if you're looking for a company that's reliable and easy to work with!

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • 24/7 availability

“and ensuring smooth execution. 24/7 Customer Care Experience unmatched…”

Its website also mentions warranty, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on LinkedIn, X, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
