!!!!! AVOID !!!!!! Used this company 2 years ago. Production fell short by 25 percent of their contract number. I asked for them to make it right by adding 4 more panels. Crickets........ And they called me to ask if i was happy..... They ask they just don't care.

It has been a year since I first made contact with these guys. There are solar panels installed on my barn roof. There is wiring inside the barn to the subpanel. There is no home run wiring getting those panels to my meter. Understandable when the initial plan was to use extant wire to backfeed into the house, but they realized that wouldn't work for some reason or other and the ground had frozen solid in the spots the trench would need to go. Spring came and went with excuses about "the team is off in Texas now". They've stopped responding to emails asking when they're going to finish.

As others have said, they only care while they’re waiting for your money and after that they become unresponsive. They gave me a production guarantee and are now ignoring me and refusing to adhere to the contract - give your money to someone else. UPDATE: I've now had to involve a state regulator as Cosmo Solaris has shown zero interest in honoring the contract that we signed. STAY AWAY FROM THESE FRAUDSTERS.

Initially, I was very impressed with Cosmo Solaris. They handled everything from getting the panels, installation, and working with my local utility for approval to hook in to the grid. In addition, I really liked the installers -- very polite, professional, and friendly. However, they seemed to be following an app provided by Enphase, the equipment supplier and took an extra day because they had hooked things up one way and then had to change. When they left my home, my well pump hadn't been tied in to the system so I had no water until they could come back 3 days later to correct that. Follo

I’ve been searching for different solar companies, cosmic Solaris Drop in my lap. My representative Hassan was very helpful through the entire process all the way down to trying to get me approved for my current application. His customer service was A1, very understanding and did the best that he could to work around my schedule for communication and I really appreciate his promptness. Unfortunately, I was unable to get the installation at this time, but I will be a future customer. I appreciate the Hassan’s efforts through this entire process and his patience and I looking forward to being a

I had a truly excellent experience with Cosmo Solaris. From the first consultation to the final installation, their team was professional, honest, and incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to explain every step of the process and helped me choose the right solar system for my home. The installation was smooth and completed on schedule. The crew worked neatly, respected my property, and made sure everything was set up exactly the way I wanted. The system has been performing perfectly, and I can already see the difference in my energy usage. What stood out most was their customer service.

“The people at Cosmo Solaris are wonderful to work with- especially Mike a PM” I have had terrific experiences with the people at Cosmo Solaris- all have been knowledgeable a willing to go above and beyond to satisfythe customer. This has been especially true of the project manager I have been working with. Mike is both knowledgable and extremely professional in his demeaner. He has been responsive and anticipates the next step in managing the process from engineering drawings through parts shipments as well as the installation. The PM is the primary interface once the project gets going and i

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“detail and provided me with great financing options. The process was smooth, and I’m glad…”
  • 24/7 availability

“monthly electricity bill and enjoy 24/7 access to power. Solar Calculator…”
  • Insured

“installation team is certified and insured, so you can know that your system…”
  • Licensed

“In Solar Energy at home We’re licensed contractors with local offices in TX,…”

Its website also mentions warranty, free estimate and years in business, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram, X, LinkedIn and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
