Its one and two star share is 3 points below the typical installer in Worcester. Across Massachusetts, 107 of the 198 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 9 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Worcester whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Custom Solar Solutions LLC is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Chad was fantastic. He guided me through the process and everything went as he explained it would. I ended up getting exactly what I needed through his recommendations and the install team did a great job and cleaned up after themselves as well. I am beyond pleased with the work done.

Being new and hesitant to the solar program, Shawn guided me along through the whole process. With all the questions or issues I had along the way, Shawn always answered when I called and he evan called on his own to check up on us to see how things were going. I'm blown away by his professionalism and customer service. Shawn did a great job!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Worcester is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
