Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in California. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 31 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Don't hesitate to give Earthwise you Solar project... You'll be 100% satisfied! I had an exceptionally good experience with Earthwise Energy. From the very beginning to the very end, every detail of the installation was thought out in advance so there were no unexpected delays along the way or issues with the inspection! I had great communication with everyone from Jason (the owner), to Louis (the facilitator/advisor), to Eddie (the tech and permit guy), to June (the administration person) and with all the install guys as well. In my experience, it's relatively easy to get 80% on a job, but ac

Great solar and power wall installation service. I looked at a couple other 'nationwide' companies and found the best scope and cost here locally in Marin! The project was well communicated and executed on time and within budget.

We highly recommend Earthwise Energy for a solar system. We turned to them as soon as we learned that the tax credit for solar would go away at the end of 2025. Jason and team were great to work with, and they made every step of the process easy. Between analyzing our needs and proposing a system, coordinating an electrical panel upgrade with our electrician, installing the solar panels and backup battery, and permitting with the city, the Earthwise team kept us informed about what to expect and kept things moving along. Now we can't wait to start seeing lower PG&E bills! If you're thinking ab

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“qualify for federal tax credits and financing options that make installing solar a…”

  • Warranty

“of industry respected batteries, one guaranteed to fit every specific need. LG,…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, years in business and better business bureau, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
