    Our solar installer, Solar Union, went bust in mid-2025 and in November our LG battery stopped working. The inverter mfgr, Solar Edge, refused to do anything directly, so I had to find a new installer. That took a while but I finally found Sutro Power. The co-owner, JP Rapagnani, took us on, attracted the attention of Solar Edge, came onsite and got the battery reconnected and updated, installed optimizers on three dark panels, and, finally, washed the panels. Our solar system is back up and we are so grateful to Sutro Power. Thanks, too, to techs Ryan, Vlad, and Rick.

    We are so happy we chose to work with Sutro Power for our solar installation. It was clear throughout the process that JP's goal was to maximize the value of our investment and minimize the pay back period. He answered all our questions over several design meetings. Enjoyed working with all of his crew and were impressed with their knowledge and the quality of their work. They handled all the inspections and applications, and as a small, local business, we feel confident that they will be responsive to any questions or concerns we have in the future.

    Sutro Power did a fantastic job installing our solar system. JP and his team were willing to work with us to install under some unusual circumstances that made some extra coordination required (we were reroofing around the same time as we needed to install - Sutro Power team worked with our roofer to add solar attachments during that process). They were reliable and good communicators. All in all, they did our installation for a fair price and finished sooner than we were expecting. I have been in the solar industry for 15 years, so I know what quality work looks like when it comes to PV insta
