I'm disappointed in the non-response and run-around regarding getting a warranty repair done on our Generac solar setup (we have a battery issue). I initially contacted Grahm on April 23. Our last phone conversation was on July 9. During that time, on 3 occasions, talking directly with Grahm on the phone, he committed to calling me back "that weekend" to schedule our warranty service the following week. On all 3 occasions, he did not call. He didn't respond to emails either. Granted, Educated Energy did not install our solar panels. However, they are a Generac Authorized Service Provider, but

Unreliable, untrustworthy, & unprofessional. Generac contracted them for our warranty work. This "business" is two guys just doing whatever they feel like. They constantly said "next week" for about 2 months. They don't return messages or calls in a timely manner (sometimes a week or more to get back with you). If you're looking for reliable professionals, you should looks elsewhere because this is just some random guys who probably got certified in a day and work out of their garage.

We have a solar system and it became time for a new roof. We needed a solar installer company to remove the system/panels from the roof so the roofer could tear off and re-shingle - and then reinstall the solar system/panels afterward. After getting some pricey quotes that were for only the removal (and reinstall action TBD) our roofer got a referral to Grahm at Educated Energy. Not only was Grahm very responsive to my request for a price quote, he also got the removal scheduled within a week, and then his crew put the panels back up and generating juice within 2 business days after the roof w

Grahm and the guys at Educated Energy are honest, professional and easy to work with. I would highly recommend them for insulation work or solar panel installation in Kalamazoo.

These guys are the best! I have had an unresponsive system for two years with multiple companies trying to fix it. Educated Energy not only fixed it but did it on the day diagnostics! I highly recommend this company for all your Solar needs!

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Holland is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
