Michigan Solar Solutions

Each mark is one company we hold in the Detroit area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Michigan Solar Solutions is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

This guy was reckless driving speeding on 696 freeway that has construction. He come in front of me cut me off on purpose and his trailer box was too close to hit my van, I did brake hard, to it cause accident. And I have this on video on my dash cam.

Worst customer service ever! Installed a system with battery backup. Been down 6 weeks. And canceled on multiple times.

Response to the response below: I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize - it's called leaving a voicemail. I am not the original owner, but purchased a house that has a 3 and 2 year old solar system(s) installed by MSS. Don't have or won't give an "Owner's Manual", don't/won't give warranty details, inconsistent responses and incorrect technical responses. Getting the solar switched to my accounts went pretty smoothly as well as initial conversations and questions. I am an engineer, so I like to understand how things work. There are several odd things in terms of the design/install

Great at install. Not so much on repair. Have been waiting almost three months…..

Kyle and Tate replaced my inverter and my system is back up and running. Both men were very knowledgeable and courteous. They explained what they were doing and gave me some advice on how to monitor my usage vs production.

Had a pleasant experience with Michigan Solar Solutions.. Salesman Ray is easy to talk to.. The installers were very professional and Friendly.. when DTE made their final inspection to give us Permission to Operate, he commented on how good of a job and professional the installation was.. He said that some companies don’t do such a good job. We have been using Solar power only about 2 weeks now so we don’t know how our electricity bill will be impacted yet.. I will recommend Michigan Solar Solutions to anybody wanting to have Solar installed .

Our solar setup has been working great, so I was completely surprised when I noticed none of our panels were suddenly operational. I called MI Solar to schedule a service call and they sent out Rei D. and Michael R. to look into it. They arrived right on time and were incredibly prompt in diagnosing the exact issue and getting it repaired. Both of these guys are highly knowledgeable and didn't waste a single minute getting our system back up and running. If you want professional, efficient, and reliable solar service, I highly recommend MI Solar and this top-tier crew!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

• Google also lists this company under electrical.
• It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
