Its one and two star share is 11 points above the typical installer in the Detroit area. Across Michigan, 21 of the 84 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 13 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in the Detroit area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Solar Solutions of America Inc is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

The app works intermittently at times. Most of the numbers I call for Solar Solutions are out of service. No one calls you back, and when they do contact you by text, they blame it on the company who blames it on them, the installer. Solar Solutions, the installer, wants to charge you $100 an hour, $200 minimum when they claim you have a 25 year warranty blaming it on my internet (see photo). It’s not my Internet because I had experts install it, friends of mine, one does hospital networking. If I had it to do over again, I would have gone with another company. For the most part, I have been h

I’m happy with solar solutions of america services. They took care of all the approvals, installation in no time. Their staff is very friendly, professional and they know what they are doing. They also took care of roof. All the services were done in nominal prices. They are the best solar panel installation in metro Detroit. Go for them to save your dollars 💵 and to get best service.

Best company if you are thinking about installing solar panels. Customer care service is excellent. The level of knowledge they have on solutions related to solar energy is very impressive. As a layman I got so much knowledge after talking to them and felt i was in good hands. Definitely recommend. Best prices they offer is a bonus advantage.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
