  Sumpter took $18,050 for a battery system late last year, to add a battery to my existing solar install. Post payment they ignored me, ignored me, then upon wanting my money back, 'found a battery' in *APRIL* ... and are now completely ignoring me. I highly recommend getting everything in a solid statement of writing OR simply not work with them.

  Very poor customer service. They do not answer their phone calls - and you can't leave them a message because the mailbox if full. They do not return emails. They leave work unfinished and their customers having to detail with their mess. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If I could have given them ZERO starts I would have. But Google will only allow you to post if you give someone at least one star. In fact, I would give them NEGATIVE stars. Update: Thank you for the response.   They keep not showing up for appointments we have made for a repair we need, and have not called us back. Very disappointing. Use another company - from now on, we will.

  they called to say running late. we like that. they did the install had to go back to their store to upload to inverters. that is a work in progress. Monday's follow-up will resolve this concern.

  Excellent service and communication. We had an existing rooftop solar array and added 15kWh of battery capacity in late 2024, and every person I worked with from Sumpter was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and really knew their stuff! Highly recommend.
