  Ethical Energy has failed to honor a contract for installation of solar, attempting to jack up the price by 25% with absence of any detailed explanation and no willingness to discuss. After the contract was signed and installation was approved by the utility they proposed design changes which do not seem necessary and a 20% price increase. When i questioned the reason trey came back with an added 5% price increase but basically stopped communicating. Next stop is PA Dept of Consumer Protection and perhaps court to seek to compel them to fulfil their contract. Ethical? No way!

  I have been having problems with my system since April when it was installed. It has been like pulling teeth to get everything working properly. I will be lucky to have it fixed by the end of September the rate we are going!! We lost out on prime production time over the summer and now our electric bill will reflect that over the summer. Our system was supposed to cover all our usage and then some, but I’m still paying $120+ for my electric bill and the solar bill due to them not fixing the problem and writing it off as it was my fault in the beginning.   The installers just finished up putting the panels on my home. They did an awesome job!! Efficient, cleaned up after the task. All during the instal I was encouraged to ask questions, if I had them. Can’t say anything better. Zach and his crew are top shelf!!! Thank you guys!!

  The sales representative Kyle Hershner did a good job of explaining that the solar panels are rented for a monthly fee that increases annually and the engineering of the solar array would be sufficient to produce enough electricity to offset my monthly electric bill to zero during the summer months and produce more electricity than I use to export electricity to the power grid for credit on future electricity bills when the solar panels may not produce enough electricity to cover my own usage.
