I thought I was going to have to do it myself. Several Hudson Valley installers turned me down because my roof was too steep. Evolution Energy installed the custom system that I had designed to install myself and did a beautiful job. Now I’m generating my own electricity, and I’m very happy with the results. What a difference a year makes. In 2025, I tried a second solar installation at the same site. We signed the contracts in February and paid the deposit (20%). When plans were set and permitting was completed about 2 months later, we made the second payment (another 40%). Then it all fell a

I found Evo Energy through the NYSERDA website. I reached out and met with Abe in late Sept 2025. I wanted to find a contractor that could complete the project before the end of 2025 to get the federal solar tax credit. On 10/4/25 I signed a contract with Evo Energy to replace my roof, install solar panels, replace a skylight, demolish a roof overhang at the front of my house and build a portico over the front door. The estimated completion date in the contract was 11/18/25. Work did not begin until 12/20/25. The roof replacement and solar installation were completed toward the end of Dec. How

Great experience with the installation and knowledge of the technicians.

What an amazing experience. Abe was my sales consultant. Knowledgeable, professional, punctual and honest. The installation team of 4 people. Bill, Dimitri and two other gentlemen that I didn’t catch the names of. Showed up at 8am stayed until 7pm, worked in a 100F weather, and completed the installation of 48000 BTU heat pump system in 1 day. That was a team of true professionals. The hard work and the quality of the service is truly impressive. I could not recommend them enough. Call them now and stay cool or warm for years to come!

We’ve had a great experience with EVO Energy. They’ve helped us through the process of getting approved and permitted, and the technicians who installed our mini splits were courteous and professional. Would definitely recommend them!

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
