Its one and two star share is 58 points above the typical installer in New York. Across New York, 4 of the 247 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 5 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Truck #7 needs to have his license suspended.... just wow

Unfortunately, Apex doesn't care about maintaining previously installed systems. We had our system installed in summer 2018. One of our panels started malfunctioning in January 2020. When reporting our problem we were ignored, told that it must be snow (there was no snow to be found), etc. It took till March for a technician to come and identify the problem which is supposedly easy to repair. We were told the problem would be fixed within the next 2 days. It's now middle of July and our panel still doesn't produce any energy. We have yet to see a technician or even have a scheduled appointment

Quality service after the sale is the mark of a well run client driven company in business for the long haul. Apex Solar Power is just that. The are willing to work with you to provide the best, most convenient, and highest quality service, with special attention to your particular needs. I'm glad Apex was my solar installer and very pleased with their ongoing maintenance and service.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • The website on this company's Google listing does not resolve to a working page, so we do not link it.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
