Lyndsey Roofing were great! I called for a roof inspection after a storm. They had a guy out to my house 2 days later. He was great, he helped us along the whole process. He helped us start our claim with the insurance company and everything! From solar Removal to solar reinstall, it was only 1 week. They were fast professional and clean! Plus all the work comes with an awesome warranty! Staff in the office also gets an A ! Her communication was great and she guided us along the whole process from start to finish.

We recently completed a major renovation on our house and Lyndsey Roofing was the best contractor we worked with. From quotes to permits and excellent craftsmanship and communication.

I made the switch to solar energy, and it’s been a huge help with keeping my electric bill manageable. The team explained everything clearly and made the entire process simple and stress-free.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Years in business

“the owner of Lyndsey Roofing, has over 20 years experience in dealing with insurance…”

• Insured

“in Putnam & Westchester Counties, fully insured for roofing, which includes carrying…”

• Licensed

“to our clients we are properly licensed in Putnam & Westchester Counties,…”

Its website also mentions financing, warranty and free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• Google also lists this company under roofing. A company that does both roofing and solar can handle the roof work a panel install often needs.
• It posts on Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
