Its one and two star share is 8 points above the typical installer in California. Across California, 450 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 22 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Beware of Evolution Solar – Dishonest and Untrustworthy I wish I could give zero stars. My experience with Evolution Solar has been extremely disappointing. Initially, George Tannous came across as professional, but that quickly changed once the project began. It became clear that corner-cutting was part of their process. Throughout the project, I encountered numerous misleading statements—not just from George, but seemingly reflective of how the company operates overall. The positive reviews they have online are hard to believe after my experience. I’ve documented messages and interactions th

I worked with Evolution Solar last year. I was in a tight rush to finish the installation before the December deadline. Thanks to George, I was able to get the installation done. It was seamless and stress free. I didnt need to worry about any inspections or PGE processes. George took care of everything. I would gladly recommend George to anyone looking to install Solar.

Evolution Solar and George have been phenomenal in the service and quality. Their prices are great. George helped me lock in NEM 2 while I was still not ready for a renovation, which made a huge difference for me. They followed up after almost 2 years and even upgraded the hardware since the prices had come down. I've since referred several people who have also been happy.

Very professional for the solar project on my rooftop

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“strong warranties, and attractive financing options to maximize your investment. The #1…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It posts on Facebook and Instagram. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
