Its one and two star share is 12 points above the typical installer in Vero Beach. Across Florida, 119 of the 675 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 40 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

0% rated 1–2★35%

Each mark is one company we hold in Vero Beach whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Goldin Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

This started 3 years ago, every time something breaks it's like pulling teeth to get hold of someone, no one returns phone calls. Than if you are lucky to have someone to come out, they charge you and than they say we don't have the part so they have to order it than they will charge you again to come out. It will take them months to get the part and come back out, meanwhile, the system is down. I had another house in a different state and that company was always on top of things and didn't double charge me. If I made a call they would come out within a week and take care of the issue without

Do not use this company. The sales people are quick on the phone or at your door knocking for business but when you need service, you cant reach customer support to schedule service(how ironic). Its unfortunate that bought a home and this is who the prior homeowner chose to install these panels which BARELY save us any money. What a waste of 32k that paid cash for at closing.

They "seemed" great at first, but ifear they were wolves in sheeps clothing. They were very responsive... at first !! Now we are still getting high electric bills, we're told not all the panels are working. Now they no longer will respond to us, answer or emails, messages or phone calls. Last time I was ablevto speak with someone (quite a shock) we spoke to "Micheal". He said he had to look into things be t PROMISED he would call back no later than the end of next day. I said that would be great. Well that was over a week ago. No word from anyone in any form. Not sure what our next step is but

Hi, I'm Jay a homeowner in Boca Raton, Fl. 5 years ago Goldin Solar of Miami, installed a 15Kw system with 44 panels on my home. It's the best thing I ever did, I'm saving 30-70% every month! Until recently, I had been monitoring performance with the Solar Edge App from my home desktop. Everything was easily available at a glance. Until Solar Edge made some upgrades that no longer support desktops with the same graphics that's available on the cell phone app. I tried many times to speak to Solar Edge support, no one contacted me. So, I gave up trying to use it until recently. I contacted my in

The folks at Goldin Solar recently completed a whole home solar and battery backup project at my home and I could not be happier with the process and final outcome. They were quick to address any questions I had and provided me a system that keeps the lights on during power outages AND lowers my utility bill... double win!

I'm looking to buy a house on which Goldin Solar installed a solar system. Wanting to find out more about the system and the company, I called. Spoke with a guy who made the company he worked for look good. Real good. Michael Hardison was his name, and boy, did he impress me with not only his knowledge of solar systems, but with his integrity and willingness to be helpful.

Reviewer names are not published here. Negative reviews are shown first because they are the ones a listing hides, not because they are more representative.

  • quality of work 2

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“of your energy future. Flexible financing options make it easy to transition to solar…”
  • Years in business

“from Ohio University. With over 10 years of experience in residential and…”

Its website also mentions established and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
