  I had solar panels install in Sept. 2020. The installers were excellent. Very professional and easy to work with. I have no complaints with them at all. The office staff is another story. each and every time I have called for something I am told they will check and call me back by the end of the day. Hasn't happened yet. It's a week or 2 later that I have to call back and go through the same thing again. It's happening again right now. I called in May to have someone check one my panels that was not producing right.   We were very happy with our system and still are for the most part. We had an issue early on which they came out and repaired very quickly which was amazing on their part. Unfortunately unbeknownst to us they inadvertently drilled a hole into our roof during installation which did not present itself until quite a while later when my wife noticed staining on our ceiling. Still within our warranty window. They sent a rep out immediately. He agreed it was their fault (using derogatory language towards the mentally challenged) and we felt it would get fixed before there was more damage to our home

  You can read multiple reviews on yelp on my fights with them to fix leaks. They did on a reinstall stay away just as the guy mathew says I got the same runaround. They actually came to my house went up on the roof, trying to fix a bunch of other leaks that was gonna happen and they said they would go back to the boss and tell him what was going on and I would be back to fix them and that was the end of that. I got a email from the main company saying they’re not responsible for old systems. I replied back to them it wasn’t the system wasn’t working. It was the installation what repeated screws

  Update 9/2025 Turns out SES was bought out a few times. Newest owner stepped up and got everything straightened out within a week of making contact and honored manufacturer warranties. Had leak in hot water heater solar panel which is under warranty. Tech came out and confirmed leak, then came back a week later and removed panel. Told me should take a few days to bring out new one. This was 5 months ago. No panel and no communication from them. First few calls was told tech was wrong and panel had to go back to manufacturer. Repeated calls to office over past few months are now unreturned. $90

  I met with Matt the sales person at my home. He went over all the options for my Solar System for heating my pool He quoted me the price and the installation was as I requested The work was done on time and everything was left clean. A couple months I passed the information to my neighbor and they also had their pool solar system installed. I would highly recommend this company. Thanks to all

  My system was installed January 2023. I have been very satisfied with the system and with the customer service from Solar Energy Systems. The system has met or exceeded my expectations. The company has been responsive when I have reached out with questions and proactive when it seemed like there was a problem (I turned off my wifi for about 3 months when I was out of town the majority of that time). I appreciate that they are a local business, too.

  Great experience with Bob and his support staff. SES was recommended to me by a neighbor. After researching online and getting quotes, SES was very competitive and local. I have never regretted my choice, and enjoy helping reduce demand for fossil fuels a bit while paying the absolute minimum electric bill possible. Bob sized my system exactly right, something the online guys would not have done based on their quotes. Highly recommend talking to SES for anyone considering solar.

Its website also mentions free estimate and better business bureau, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It posts on Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.
