Its one and two star share is 4 points above the typical installer in the Manchester area. Across New Hampshire, 8 of the 43 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.
The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 230 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Every company we hold in the Manchester area, on one axis
Each mark is one company we hold in the Manchester area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Granite State Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

We did our install in August 2022. Overall performance is good. The system stops reporting often so that's annoying. I am more disappointed with the way the install went and how it was misrepresented in the beginning.. we wanted the install to be place on a huge ledge overlooking our farm. Great use of an area with no other real value. We were told they could not install on ledge. So we placed it elsewhere and we're then charged extra to supposedly drill "through ledge". Hmmm??? This area is in a field where there is no ledge but there are field stones. If you use GSS I would make sure you get

I unfortunately can’t recommend them. Communication was terrible. But worse, they initially miswired the monitoring system such that Eversource refused to connect to it. Then after they “fixed” it, the system was wildly misrepresenting how much electricity I was producing, using and exporting back out to the grid. They blamed everyone from Eversource to the existing wiring to the weather for their failure to deliver the system they’d sold me. Part of their sales pitch was these incredible warranties and how they “back” their work. But at one point they made the mindblowing statement that there

- It costs $2,000 more if you pay with financing. - Why? there is zero administrative burden involved. - I was told there is little to no flexibility in the scheduling at each step of the way, then they would call and need to reschedule, the first time the morning of, the second time the night before. Be prepared to burn through your paid time off to accommodate what works best for them. - Energy consumption monitoring was not included even though the Enphase combiner supports it. It costs less than $100 to clip on the current transformers, wish they would have told me up front that the monito

The generator installation and operational test were just successfully completed. Great so far. I'm not wishing for bad weather but I am anticipating its first real use. I'll keep you posted. Great job!

The installation was great and installers nice and professional clean up afterwards would have them back in a instant

When looking into having a home solar and battery backup system installed, we researched many companies through the internet, made use of Energy Sage, constructed a comparison spreadsheet (equipment costs, warranties, output ratings, etc.) and invited the two top companies to visit our home and make a presentation. We found the Granite State Solar team to make the best proposal as they thoroughly answered all our questions, used quality technology, and were reasonably priced – not the least expensive nor the most expensive. We decided on a 24 panel array with the Enphase IQ8MC microinverters w

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.
What we don't know
- The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
- We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
- We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
