Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in California. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 6 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

I've had the good fortune of working with Greentech Ventura with Drew and Jason. They deliver on time they carry a great selection of modules, inverters, racking, and batteries and have great local customer service. I was impressed with how many trucks they get running early in the morning to avoid the SoCal traffic.

Thank you for serving our region with professionalism.

I’ve been doing business with CED Greentech Ventura since day one, and they are hands-down the best in the business. As the Director of California Solar Electric, I rely on partners who are professional and consistent, and this team hits the mark every time. Dealing with Jason, Hunter, Drew, Nick, Andrea, Crystal, Avalon, and the rest of the crew has been a phenomenal experience. They carry top-tier equipment and provide the kind of reliability that’s hard to find. They’ve been a great organization to work with from the beginning to the present day—I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

What reviewers keep mentioning

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions 24/7 availability, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Elsewhere

    • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
    • It posts on LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, X and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
