Its one and two star share is 8 points above the typical installer in the Lutz area. Across Florida, 173 of the 675 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 9 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in the Lutz area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Heights Solar, Inc is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

After having solar for 5 years, almost 25% of my panels started cracking or under producing. Not only was my installer out of business, so was the “FL based” Solar Tech panel company. Then my combiner unit stopped working. I called around and researched for a highly recommended installer and was referred to Mike at Heights Solar. He came out, surveyed the situation, made a recommendation to replace my broken panels with much better brand name panels and rewired and installed a new Enphase combiner. His communications throughout the process was great. His work was clean and professional, workin

If you are thinking about getting solar and want to get a quality install for the BEST price, you found the place. Mike is very knowledgeable and experienced with solar, he took the time to explain everything and answered my questions. After getting 3 quotes from different companies, his quote was THOUSANDS less. Everything came out just as promised, on time and working perfectly. He worked with TECO to get me approved and connected. Don't waste your time with other guys, especially if they come knocking on your door. I have done my research and this is as good as it gets. Free electricity is

*Actual Customer Review* *1 year review update* I’ve had my panels for a year now, and I’m just as satisfied as when they were first installed. I initially got several quotes, including one from Tesla, but the most competitive offer came from Heights Solar, a local Seminole/Tampa Heights company. Mike, the owner, worked incredibly hard and completed the installation quickly, and the quality was better than I could had ever anticipated. I plan to use Heights Solar for any future battery needs 100%.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions established, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Elsewhere

    • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

    Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
