Each mark is one company we hold in the Roseville area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Hooked on Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

  I have owned solar from Sunpower/Sunstrong. The unit has worked wonderful since I purchased the house 6 years ago. The only recent change I have made is a new WiFi company. After the new WiFi I noticed the unit was flashing 2 red lights and stopped producing. I will skip the convo I had with Sunstrong, however they told me they could not locate my account and I was out of luck. They provided me with this company. I requested a quote and spoke with Alec on the phone. He advised me they are third party with Sun strong and somehow found my account immediately. This confused me because sun strong

  Inconsistent experience. Over hyped sales pitch. Then once you sign … crickets. Unless of course it’s payday. A whole month passed before I heard from them again. Installers were nice and punctual. However after they trenched my patio, they did not put my pavers back properly nor did they install the shut switch correctly resulting in failing the PGE inspection. After they reinstalled the switch I finally passed. Started in Jan and finished in May. Not sure if I could recommend this company in good conscience.

  Had a solar panel system installed in 2020. It worked well, and the installation process was mostly free of the usual home improvement hiccups. If that were the only factor, I'd probably have given 4 or 5 stars. However, a panel failed in 2022, and getting warranty service has been like pulling teeth without novocaine. Have lost essentially a whole year (most of the spring, and all summer) of production from that panel (about 10% of the system) due to delay in detecting and verifying the failure, and then (no contact from them recently - lack of updates is another issue) lack of parts.   I've already praised these folks for doing a great job with our solar install a few years ago, but have to give them more accolades for recently coming out and repairing our SunPower system. Since the SunPower bankruptcy, most of us were abandoned by their remote tech support and warranty department. However, Hooked on Solar still has the access and expertise to service these orphaned systems. Alfredo and Daniel made quick work of diagnosing a faulty component in our system, replacing it, and recommissioning the system back into service.   I had solar and 2 Powerwall 3s installed. I love to see my electric meter roll backwards! Can’t wait to see what my true-up is next year!
