The roof and solar panels were installed fine. However, the roof install was done by now defunct Garner Roofing and the solar panels were done by Infinite Energy. Work quality was good. However, after a few years and reaching out for assistance with getting my solar system synced up with my new home wireless network, I find out the that Garner Roofing is defunct and the website listed on Google for Infinite Energy was bought out by a scam site. When you try to call the phone number listed, it rings once and hangs up.

Update: In response to you asking me to contact you to resolve this issue, I did. Two days ago. Your receptionist said she would take my warranty issue to "management" and get right back to me. Crickets once again from you all. You have my number, it's in your court. The Owner of Infinite Energy Home Services, Rich Walton, owned Garner Roofing. They are apparently now shut down and Rich refused to speak to me for months about issues I had with their sub par work. They do not honor their warranties nor stand by their work over time. One of his former managers I was working with wrote this to me

Unqualified, unprofessional, unworkmanlike, dishonest. We hired Infinite Energy to remove and reinstall our solar and reroof our house, and remove the water cooler mounts from a water cooler that was no longer functional. We switched from cement tile to shingles. Infinite's quote was higher than others, but they were the only company that promised to complete the work before the rain season. We had a roof leak so we wanted to get it addressed quickly. Where we are now: Our solar is now non-functional due to a ground fault, which means they likely damaged the wiring somewhere. They removed the

First, I’d like to acknowledge that the employees at Infinite have always been polite and friendly anytime we’ve communicated, and overall, I’m sure Infinite Energy is a good company. That being said, our experience has left me feeling that we may have made a mistake choosing this company, and after over 6 months from signing a contract and paying over $30K for our solar system, we have yet to see a single dollar of a return on our investment. Our system was installed back in November of 2021, and was a basic 9.6kW system that as far as we were told was straightforward residential system that

We talked to Kenna and she is so knowledgeable and helpful that we decided to install the Solar board immediately after meeting with her. Installation and permit was done smoothly and now we are starting to use Solar electric. Great experience!

I needed some repairs done on my roof, so I called Infinite Energy and spoke with a charming lady named Valerie. She set me up an appointment a couple of days later for a roof inspection. The inspector, Jason, did a thorough inspection covering my concerns, and provided some recommendations to prolong the life of my roof. He took pictures of everything, and provided me a very reasonable estimate of repairs. Two weeks later their technician, Richie, came out and performed the repairs. Richie is a very personable and proficient tech, and wow, what a hard worker! He went above and beyond in compl

Infinite Energy did an awesome job giving life back to our older home. The reflective roofing and adding attic insulation to our home made the world of difference. The solar tops it all off and has made this an almost no cost revitalization to our home. They offered affordable financing that put money into our home instead of our utility's pockets. Thank you for taking care of our home and your employees who do exceptional work.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
