Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in Oakland. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 42 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Oakland whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Isaac Roth Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

What reviewers said

  • 5★ · around July 2026 · the company replied

Isaac Roth helped me consider whether going solar makes economic sense for us. The businesses selling solar panels aren't motivated to help answer this question but Isaac is ready to do so.

  • 5★ · around July 2026 · the company replied

Isaac explained a good insight of the PG&E history bill. He described why a solar panel installation won't give me the savings I was expecting. I appreciate his honesty.

  • 5★ · around June 2026 · the company replied

We purchased our solar from Isaac a few years ago and had the best experience. He didn't pressure us at all, despite our initial indecision. He explained the entire process, from installation to financing, very clearly and accessibly. He followed up with us throughout, and has continued to check back in with us periodically. Isaac is thorough and honest. We've had absolutely no regrets with our purchase!

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Oakland is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
