Its one and two star share is 17 points above the typical installer in Montana. Across Montana, 2 of the 36 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 6 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Montana whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Jordan Solar and Electric is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

What reviewers said

Jordan Solar provided high quality equipment and exceptional service. Being off grid full time we are dependent on a rock-solid power system. Jordan Solar came through for us. We couldn't be happier with our new solar, inverter and battery system. Thanks Janelle and Eric...

Jordan Solar installed a solar system in my home just over a year ago and it was an awesome experience. They gave me a very clear estimate that was extremely competitive. They scheduled the necessary inspections, got the permits, installed the system and got MEC to turn it on all in about one month. Everyone at Jordan is friendly, professional and highly skilled at their jobs. I highly recommend Jordan Solar!

Eric and his helper James were excellent. They arrived on time and in a few hours, they had our 13-year-old inverter/charge controller out and the new Sol-Ark panel and new lithium-ion batteries installed. We were up in running that day. I would highly recommend Jordan Solar to my friends and neighbors.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Years in business

“Idaho in an Off-Grid home and being a licensed electrician in Idaho, Montana, and…”

Elsewhere

  • Google also lists this company under drywall, electrical and general contracting.
  • It is also reviewed on HomeAdvisor and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
