Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in Montana. Across Montana, 12 of the 36 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 15 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Our experience with OnSite was truly exceptional. Jackson Crawford was our initial contact with Onsite, and he was incredibly helpful (and honest) in providing us with easily-understandable technical and financial information to help us make our final decision. The team installed our system surprisingly quickly and with as little disturbance as possible (and they were very nice). Everybody we interacted with at OnSite was helpful, kind, and incredibly competent. They are the real deal. We couldn’t be happier with how smooth the process was and are so excited about our new solar array. If you’r

Had a great experience with these folks- they did a great job sorting out the cost/benefit of our array with us, and were super transparent through design and construction. Love checking the app to see our system generate electricity on a sunny winter day!

Had a fantastic experience with onsite! Jackson gave us a clear and transparent consultation. The installation process was incredibly fast and seamless. The whole team seemed very trustworthy and absolutely recommend them to anyone thinking about solar!

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions established, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Elsewhere

    • It is also reviewed on ConsumerAffairs. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
    • It posts on Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

    Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
