Its one and two star share is 3 points below the typical installer in Michigan. Across Michigan, 49 of the 84 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 5 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Couldn't say enough good things about the company and Matt! As a person working on thirds I'm terrible at most communication during the day. They were so patient with me and all my delayed responses and we're always available for me when I had a question. As someone new to solar panels, it was really nice to have it explained in multiple different ways in order for it to finally get it to sink in lol so thanks for that as well. Would definitely recommend working with these guys if you ever plan on going solar.

Mat was knowledgeable, informative, friendly, and personable. He spent the time to answer all our questions and was not pushy, while trying to make ‘the sale’. We appreciated his honesty and openness. He continued to make himself available via text message for us to ask additional questions and spent time talking through certain aspects of the Solar agreement over the phone without complaint. He followed up with us regularly regarding different steps of the process and kept us informed. We were fortunate to work with Mat! He was amazing! Thank you!

After dealing with several companies, we finally found Matt with Keystone Solar who was able to answer all of our questions with confidence! Great experience, great service! I would highly recommend!

What reviewers keep mentioning

  • knowledgeable staff 4

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Portage is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
